We are officially at the LAST week before our holiday break! I will definitely miss all of my boys and girls over this period of time!
As we phase out this first semester, please be reminded that student attendance is a BIG PRIORITY for our school. WE LOST THE ATTENDANCE TROPHY to another school and we are now 3rd in the Region for attendance. Let us make every effort to come to school every day this week. We have many incentives for students with great attendance. Beginning in January, we will have an Attendance Dance off each week for students with perfect attendance for the week. We will spend the last ten minutes of the instructional day dancing and celebrating those with perfect attendance for the week.
Just a few reminders for the week:
We will have our first annual Holiday Program tomorrow. Thanks to Mrs. Spatz and the entire committee, along with parent volunteers for helping us make this event come to fruition. The kindergarten through 3rd grade will perform from at 1pm during the school day. The pre-K, 4th-5th grade will perform at 6pm. All kindergarten through 3rd grade students should wear the BPA uniform with any Holiday accessories- 4th and 5th grade students are asked to wear white shirts and black pants or skirts. Please make every effort to come to come to the PTA meeting tomorrow night at 6pm.
We will be off to the BIG LIBRARY this Friday celebrating all students that met the Accelerated Reader challenge this past month. The final count is over 300 students! We will visit Central Library and take part in this wonderful action packed fun while also exposing students to EIGHT floors of books!
